February 23-24, 2019 - Seiffen snow race
The race in Seiffen was the last race of the season for us. On the one hand we don't want to let our dogs take part in mud races after the many snow races and on the other hand we want to allow our Djuna for breeding. As a precaution, we are not taking part in any further races. If you want to know what our Djuna is doing now. She is a lady/princess and likes to be kept waiting (with the heat). ....
February 16-17, 2019 - Hammer Bridge Snow Race
First time in Hammerbrücke and immediately impressed by the trail. Luckily, the warm temperatures hadn't damaged the trail yet, so this race could take place. At the same time, this glorious weather drew thousands of visitors out of their homes. The rush of visitors was probably a blessing for many dogs in need of cuddles. 12 days of enchanted winter holidays in a breathtaking setting - Pillersee Haidmühle
In 2019 we enjoyed a wonderful winter holiday with our dogs. It was the second time that we went to Austria, to St. Ulrich am Pillersee. Since gusts of wind and the onset of winter (also in the lowlands) were predicted on Tuesday, our actual departure day, we didn't start until Wednesday, January 9th, 2019. It is the second time that a sled dog race is held in Klaistow. The track conditions and the whole atmosphere are ideal here. The conditions are a physical challenge for the dogs - lots of sand and paw-friendly terrain. We are now also training temporarily in areas with sandy ground, ....
